Our working Process
Pre-sorting
In the first step, the raw textiles and used clothing are sorted according to type and composition before they are passed on to the next process step. Different fabrics are separated, shoes are distinguished from clothing, and larger textiles, such as B. duvets or carpets are separated in order to be able to optimally evaluate each type of textile in the first step .
Post-sorting
In the second step, the used clothing is examined for quality and a more detailed picture of the material condition is created. Each individual piece of clothing is picked up by our trained staff and sorted according to certain quality criteria. With a flow of several dozen tons of collected used textiles, this results in a sorting capacity of several tens of thousands of items of clothing – per day
PACKAGING
We carefully place the goods in 45, 55, and 350 Kg not pressed, transparent sacks to preserve the quality of the goods. Items can be arranged in other packaging, each time according to the customer’s necessity.
The goods addressed to African countries are placed into small or big pressed bales. Concerning shipment of the material in Italy and abroad, we make use of skilled staff to provide all necessary documents and support the customer in researching the best transport solutions.
